Modern Sense Furniture is a leader in contemporary and luxury home furnishings, offering curated pieces and exceptional service to clients across Canada. We pride ourselves on creating a seamless experience, from showroom to delivery and are looking for a **Customer Service & Administrator** who shares our commitment to quality, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our customers, vendors, and internal teams—ensuring orders are processed accurately, inquiries are handled promptly, and our clients experience the exceptional service that defines Modern Sense.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Customer Service & Communication**
- Provide clear, professional, and friendly updates on orders, delivery timelines, and product information.
- Proactively communicate with clients regarding any changes or delays to ensure a positive experience that reflects our brand values.
**Administrative & Order Processing**
- Accurately enter, process, and track orders to ensure timely delivery of our furniture and décor pieces.
- Maintain detailed records in our internal systems and update order statuses promptly.
- Support claims processing for defective, damaged, or incorrect shipments, ensuring fast and fair resolution.
**Vendor & Supplier Coordination**
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm product availability, delivery dates, and order details.
- Maintain strong relationships with trusted vendor partners to uphold Modern Sense’s standards of quality and service.
**Inventory & Operational Support**
- Work with our warehouse and inventory teams to monitor stock levels and resolve discrepancies.
- Flag high-demand or low-stock items to keep our best-selling pieces available for clients.
**Qualifications & Skills**
- Experience in customer service, administration, purchasing, or order processing.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a client-first mindset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP/order management system knowledge is an asset.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
