Digital Marketing Specialist

360°kids is a vitally important community agency serving all of York Region. We have been a leader in the delivery of innovative support services for more than 35 years as we work to improve the lives of unhoused and marginalized youth and families in York Region. At 360°kids, we provide a unique continuum of care approach with programs and services that are essential to the health and well-being of youth. These proven strategies help to keep youth safe by providing stable housing options with 360° wraparound supports.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for assisting and working alongside the Resource Development team to generate revenue and awareness for the organization through our digital marketing and online social media presence.
Specific Accountabilities will include Digital Marketing initiatives; Organizational Social Media Presence and Content Creation & Community Engagement.
This is 8 week contract to be funded through Canada Summer Jobs 2025
**Job Duties**:
Communications & Marketing
- Assist in designing and producing digital content for marketing campaigns and social platforms (graphics, videos, etc.)
- Capture and edit photos and videos at events and program sites for social media and promotional use
- Schedule and publish content across social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter)
- Monitor and engage with our online community to support strong social media community management
- Support content development for the website, blog posts, and e-newsletter (WordPress)
- Recognize donors and volunteers on social media through engaging posts
- Assist in creating social media fundraising campaigns
- Support analytics and reporting of social media and digital engagement
- Other duties as required.
- Manage creating digital promotions for donation campaigns.
- Use of online platforms Artez and Frontstream

**Knowledge and Skills Required**:

- Post-secondary education, preferably in nonprofit management, communications, or fundraising.
- Experience with social media platforms, graphic design, and video editing.
- Working knowledge of software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator) is an asset.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Confident communicator with strong writing and editing abilities.
- Ability to plan and deliver work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience managing social media communities and analyzing engagement metrics.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is a strong asset
