**Technical Trainer**

Equisoft, a leading global provider of digital business solutions for the insurance and wealth industries, is actively seeking new talent

To fit into this role, you must have a technical background, and have some experience presenting technical training materials.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate with Senior Training Facilitator, Team Leads and others to ensure training programs are developed and delivered as required
- Ensure configuration and other existing training materials are current and accurate
- Deliver training to new employees and clients as needed. This includes independently coordinating resources such as customizing agenda with managers or clients, scheduling and inviting attendees and SMEs, etc.
- Work with technical, configuration and QA teams to address training needs as required and to develop formal structured training classes
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate materials on our Equisoft University site
- Manage multiple training priorities concurrently
- Ensure that training incorporates best practices from across Equisoft’s global teams

**MUST-HAVES**
- University degree or diploma in relevant field
- 2+ years’ experience in OIPA configuration or development
- Highly self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Ability to travel at an estimate of 25% average annually
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a diverse range of audiences and settings
- Willingness to attend Train-the-Trainer or presentation skills programs to develop skills
- Excellent communications skills (oral, written and presentation), in both English and French

**NICE-TO-HAVES**
- Some experience at developing effective IT technical training documents
- Some experience at presenting training material to technical teams/and or presenting paid training to external clients or relevant experience
- Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an asset
- Knowledge of Equisoft’s business and products
- Ability to discuss the technical architecture of the solution at a high level is positive
