We are looking for a passionate and experienced **Regional** **Sales Manager** to support our growth strategy. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the **Regional Sales Manager** will drive revenue and growth by building a high-performance sales team of 8-12 representatives, developing and executing an annual sales plan, championing the execution of the Automotive Division’s sales programs and initiatives and managing a portfolio of high-profile accounts.

**What you’ll be doing**
Through your interactions with your key accounts, you will develop your role as their trusted advisor. As you get to know our business and the customers’ needs, you will be educating the customers on their battery options. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the bottom-line and drive the growth of the division.
Working with the Director, Sales, you will put your strategic mind to work by developing and implementing sales programs and providing input on annual / quarterly sales forecast. You will learn about the competitive environment and the industry activity within the region to identify potential target markets or new product opportunities to increase sales and profitability.
**What you bring**
You will receive full product training, but a strong foundation and background in the following will set you up for success:
- 9+ years of progressive outside sales experience with strong negotiation and closing skills
- Team management experience with demonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with superior presentation skills.
- Collaborative team player that can troubleshoot, resolve issues and achieve results
- Knowledge an understanding of marketing strategies and programs
- Ability to plan, organize and direct programs.
- Previous experience / knowledge of automotive aftermarket / battery / industrial industry a definite asset
**Other Considerations**
- Valid G driver’s license required with a clean driving record
- Approximately 30% travel (by car) within Ontario required
- Background checks including criminal checks, driver’s abstract and employment references will be requested.
- Please note that this position may be based out of our Mississauga or Courtice location.
