TSX.V: FLT; OTC QB: TAKOF; Frankfurt: ABB.F We currently recruiting for a **Human Resources Generalist (12 - 18 Month Contract)** within our People and Culture team. Report directly to the Director, People & Culture, the HR Generalist, will support the DDC team with their recruitment needs, onboarding, HRIS administration, employee relations, general HR administration, benefits and employee communication. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing team. **Recruitment** - To oversee the Onboarding for all new hires. **HR Administration** - Ensure accurate personnel and payroll information is provided to Payroll department. - Prepare status change forms and various types of letters including employment confirmation, reporting changes, promotion, etc. - Administer exit interview process. - Coordinate performance reviews and employee recognition programs. **Benefits and HRIS** - To perform updates on BambooHR and maintain other confidential personnel files updated. - Provide benefits orientation and enrollment of new employees within deadlines. **What We Expect You To Have**: - University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources - More than 5 years experience in a HR Generalist capacity, preferably in a Startup environment. - CHRP/CHRL designation preferred - Knowledge of Federal, Provincial and Local laws and regulations. - Knowledge of Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code - Experience working with BambooHR - Expert with MS Office Suite, HRIS programs, recruitment platforms and social media. **Behavioral Competencies and Personal Attributes** - Excellent judgment and discretion in managing highly sensitive and confidential information - Ability to work both independently or in a team environment - Strong organizational and administrative skills - Strong attention to detail - Strong communications skills, verbal and written **What We Offer**: - Fulltime Hybrid work schedule (opportunity to work one day remotely). - 37.5 hours per week. - Hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm. **Diversity & Inclusion** DDC is committed to the creation of an exceptional work environment wherein we maintain values of mutual respect, integrity, dignity, and inclusivity; and encourage the open exchange of ideas and opinions.
