Reporting to the a member of our leadership team, we are looking for a well-rounded HR professional to join our team The HR Generalist will be responsible for leading HR initiatives with the leadership team in all areas of Human Resources. This role is responsible for recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, training plans, compensation, performance reviews and other HR related initiatives. This team member will ensure all staff are utilizing the most suitable HR practices to maximize the business now and in the future.

**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist daily operations of the HR functions and duties
- Provide clerical and administrative support to leadership team
- Administer employee benefits plans and policies, compensation, recruitment and employee relations
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc)
- Facilitate and/or provides training to the workforce
- Respond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints and queries
- Assist and coordinate obtaining information on ESA/MoL and relaying it to Leadership team
- Support the management and implementation of HR strategies, plans, policies and programs
- Support processes related to new hires, promotions, internal transfers, and offboarding
- Lead company responses with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
- Other responsibilities assigned by leadership team
**_REQUIREMENTS: _**
- Post-secondary education in HR, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2-3 years proven working experience in HR field
- Knowledge of Employment Standard Act/ Ministry of Labour Act of Ontario
- Energetic with excellent communication skills and positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Must have “G” license and access to vehicle to travel among our locations in GTA
- Strong verbal and written in English

**Salary**: $1.00 per year
