Job Title: Office Administrator - Construction Landscaping Company
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Position Overview:
We are a Calgary-based construction landscaping company seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has strong organizational skills, and is eager to learn and grow alongside the owner in various aspects of the business.
The Office Administrator will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while gaining exposure to multiple areas of the business, including design and sales, job costing, human resources, and business system development. This position offers the unique opportunity to expand your skill set and grow within a small but ambitious team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining records.
Assist with job costing, invoicing, and other financial documentation using CRM systems (experience with Synced up is a plus).
Support the owner in developing and refining business systems and processes.
Coordinate with staff and manage aspects of human resources, such as onboarding, scheduling, and payroll documentation.
Learn and assist with design processes, including working with landscaping design software (experience with RealTime Landscape Architect is an asset but not required).
Support sales efforts by preparing estimates, proposals, and maintaining client relationships.
Manage office supplies, equipment, and other operational needs.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of administrative experience (preferably in construction, landscaping, or a related field).
Interest in design and landscaping, with a willingness to learn design tools and concepts.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software (Synced up experience is an asset).
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
A positive attitude and a passion for learning new aspects of the business.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
