**Employment Type**: Full-Time (Hourly) with possibility of Permanent (Full-Time)*

**Hours**:Mon - Fri, 8:30 am - 5:00pm (40 Hours)

**Working Location**: On-site

**Office Located in**: Brantford, Ontario

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general administrative duties and assist with event planning
- Customer Service back up support - Customer enquiries, invoice requests etc.
- Screen and redirect incoming calls and sales enquiry to the respective sales team
- Responsible for arranging office maintenance and cleaning contractors and order office supplies
- Maintenance of HR Polices, records, and distribution of internal communications/initiatives and assist with bi weekly payroll processing
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Liaising with IT to set up office equipment and asset inventory management
- Tradeshow organization - logistics, point of purchase etc.
- Create and update record of customer database and contact lists
- Staff expense tracking and reporting (Travel and Company Vehicle Fleet)
- Generate purchase orders and track all invoices and payments
- Work with Government bodies e.g. CRA, Revenue Du Quebec or Alberta Treasury
- Work closely with contractors - submission of Building permit, maintenance and repairs, obtain quotes and negotiate costs
- Perform other duties as required - special projects and assignment as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree or College Diploma in administration is preferred
- Minimum of five years’ experience in office administration or other related fields
- Strong flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic workplace
- Ability to multi-task and make decisions utilizing priority management, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Able to work independently/ team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills in a variety of programs and a willingness and ability to learn new programs and technologies
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
