Full time position joining a team of medical billing specialists responsible for completing the full medical billing cycle for their clients. You will participate in all team tasks and have full responsibility for a specific client list. Daily tasks include: - Analyzing and entering the data for medical billing claims done by physicians (our clients) using our web based medical billing platform—Telus Health EMR - Communication with Manitoba Health, Third Parties, clients and patients as needed - Verifying statements of account, analyze errors and re-bill unpaid claims - Creating and updating various reports to ensure proper management and accuracy of claims - In-house training in medical billing on an ongoing basis Job requirements: - Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite - PHIA training (completion can be done at our office) - Fluency in written and spoken English - The ability to manage priorities and stress that may arise during peak periods - A strong sense of responsibility and priorities - Ability to work both independently and in a team environment The following skills and experience are an asset: - EMR experience—Preference given to Telus Health - Medical terminology knowledge - Administrative work experience - Post secondary education is not required but can be an asset Job specifics: - Competitive wages depending on experience - 3 weeks vacation/year based on 6% of wage earning - Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm - **In office position** **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking Ability to commute/relocate: - Winnipeg, MB R3M 3Y7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - Do you have experience in medical billing? **Language**: - English (required) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2025-08-25 Expected start date: 2025-09-15
