**Medical Billing Associate - Bison Family Medical Clinics Inc - Winnipeg**

**Responsibilities**:

- Generate and submit medical claims to Third Party Insurance and MB Health.
- Review and follow up on unpaid claims.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials (Remittances).
- Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries and payment arrangements.
- Maintain accurate records of billing activities.
- Stay up to date on changes in medical billing regulations and coding procedures from MB Health.

**Requirements**:

- Proven 2 years' experience working in medical billing.
- Proficiency with medical billing software (e.g., Accuro).
- Knowledge of medical coding systems (ICD-9, CPT).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in medical billing and coding preferred.
