- **Group Benefits Specialist**_

You will be providing our clients with data-driven service and managing all aspects of their health & welfare benefits—from strategic and budget planning through implementation. In addition, you will be working with various SGS teams related to your clients’ administration, employee communications, and compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- **3+ years of experience with large or mid-size group employee benefits is MANDATORY**.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel and can assimilate to new programs quickly.
- Project management and strong organizational skills are required.
- Life Insurance - managing existing clientele when inquiries come in and assisting agents with both “new business” and the underwriting process of new clients.
- Investments - assisting advisors with inquiries from time to time such as RRSP to RRIF conversions, withdrawals, claims, etc.
- Group Renewal and Association Renewal Preparations.
- Assisting advisors with day-to-day tasks/projects.
- Required to attend occasional meetings/events outside the office.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and follow through abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with management, clients, vendors and internal customers.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to multi-task and easily adjust to change.
- Demonstrated problem solving ability.

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
