We have an exciting opportunity for two Technical Specialists - Infrastructure to join our team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Infrastructure Support, you will contribute to the success of the Save-On-Foods banner and other Pattison Food Group banners as required.

You will be responsible for:

- Support the Save-On-Foods' Cloud and on-premise infrastructure by providing tier III support requests and tasks.
- Implement and upgrade server infrastructure to meet our company’s goals.
- Troubleshoot and identify the underlying cause of incidents to determine the root cause.
- Engage with third-party vendors for support, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Keep current with the skills required to support our IT infrastructure.
- Manage communications and expectations of support requests with stakeholders.
- Seek opportunities to automate support requests and tasks.
- Seek opportunities for skills development within the team.
- Identify opportunities to make the support of IT infrastructure as efficient and successful as possible.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to support infrastructure-related incidents.
- Create and update support documentation.
- Transition applicable support documentation to the IT Operations team.

You have:

- Post-secondary technical diploma in Information Systems, IT infrastructure or related work experience.
- 3 or more years experience in IT infrastructure implementations with a broad range of exposure to IT support best practices.
- Experience with implementing and supporting Windows Server, VMWare, Linux variants, and at least one of the major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Experience implementing and supporting enterprise directory platforms such as Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and LDAP.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
- Good knowledge of retail grocery business processes and the role of IT infrastructure.
- Strong benefit: experience working in an information technology role in a retail organization.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills especially communicating with non-technical people.
