**How you will make a difference**:
The Junior E-Commerce Merchandiser is responsible for developing a world-class shopping experience for the Urban Planet website comprising of brands Urban Planet, Urban Kids and Forever21. They will ensure that products get uploaded online in a timely manner to help drive sales and a great shopping experience. The E-Commerce Merchandiser reports into the Ecommerce Manager.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Understanding product categorization to accurately tag products to ensure they appear in the correct collections online
- Completing the necessary product maintenance post upload to ensure accuracy of upload
- Activating products after site maintenance is complete and checking the products are available online in all correct categories/collections where they have been tagged in the navigation
- Maintaining the master tags file and master list files of all products uploaded
- Website and app maintenance of fixing products that are tagged incorrectly, collection issues, etc.
- Brainstorm and collaborate ideas to improve online operations and experience

**What You’ll Need**:

- Post-secondary education in Marketing, E-Commerce and/or related experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with E-Commerce
- Experience with Shopify platforms and content management systems preferred
- Understanding of online shopping experience, on-site customer experience, and competitive environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office an asset, specifically Excel
- Intermediate/fluent French is an asset.
