**We are looking for those with direct experience using concrete diesel or electric self-propelled walk-behind slab/flat saws in the concrete or other transferable industries.**

Under the direction of a Superintendent or Foreman/Lead, you will operate various cutting and coring equipment to complete designated jobs to project specifications in a safe and timely manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operation of different-sized electric & hydraulic coring drill assemblies & bits in a variety of environments, positions, and circumstances
- Operate a truck and trailer assembly, cube van, cargo van, or truck as required with confidence throughout city, rural, commercial, and industrial environments to get to and from our shop to your designated work sites.
- Daily equipment cleaning, routine preventative maintenance, & basic equipment repair
- Inspection, documentation & reporting of all used equipment
- Ability to direct labourers as necessary, part of a 2-3 man cutting crew to ensure safe, efficient, & clean cutting processes.

**Qualifications and Certification**:

- **Must have a valid class 5 Non-GDL driver's license & clean 3-year driver abstract**:

- Minimum of 2+ years experience in concrete cutting in various environments but primarily direct operation experience on large diesel or electric walk-behind flat/slab saws
- Those with experience operating core drills are preferred as this is a common work dynamic of this role when cutting is not required
- CSTS-2020, WHMIS (Free certifications)
- Must possess a strong ability to adapt to different working conditions & equipment, as the nature of this position is very dynamic

**Experience**:

- direct walk-behind flat/slab saw operation: 2 years (required)
- direct operation of concrete core drills: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- WHMIS 2015 (Free, online, non-expiring digital ASCA ticket) (required)
- CSTS 2020 (Free, online, non-expiring digital ASCA ticket) (required)
