**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead a crew to **execute flatwork and wall work** projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- ** Coordinate the preparation and pouring of concrete** for flat surfaces such as slabs, sidewalks, and driveways, ensuring proper thickness and finish.
- Supervise the **construction and installation of concrete walls**, including foundation walls, retaining walls, and decorative walls, ensuring structural integrity.
- Oversee the **layout and forming of concrete structures**, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and design plans.
- Monitor the curing process to guarantee optimal strength and durability of the concrete.
- Inspect work for compliance with safety and quality standards, addressing any deficiencies immediately.
- Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques for flatwork and wall work, ensuring best practices are followed.
- ** Maintain equipment** and ensure all tools are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other trades and project managers to coordinate tasks and schedules effectively.
- Complete additional tasks as needed while adhering to our **Safety Program**.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- At least **5 years of experience** in.concrete walls and flat work with some supervisory roles
- ** Strong knowledge** of construction and concrete practices and safety regulations.
- The ability to **read blueprints and project specifications** with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and **communication skills**, with a focus on motivating teams.
- ** Problem-solving skills** to tackle on-site challenges effectively.
- A **valid driver’s license** with a clean driving record.

**Schedule**:

- ** Monday to Friday** with the potential for overtime.
- Availability for weekend work.

**Work Location**:
Primarily based in the Waterloo Region with some travel across Southern Ontario.
