With service offerings in the commercial & industrial concrete construction sectors comprising complete concrete flat-works, & above/below grade structural & infrastructure services. Additionally, we have a fully developed saw-cutting, coring, demolition & removal division which works independently & in support of our construction division.

We specialize in providing high-quality solutions to our clients, ensuring every project is executed with precision & excellence. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated **Project Coordinator** to join our team & contribute to our continued success & growth.

**Role Overview**:
The **Project Coordinator** plays a vital role in our **Operations Team**, **supporting the preparation, progression, & completion**of our various concrete construction projects. You’ll work directly with the superintendents and project managers to ensure our projects are prepared properly, stay on track, and wrap up cleanly. From scheduling and document control to communication and material tracking — you’ll help ensure no detail falls through the cracks. This is a full-time, in-person role based in our St. Albert office, which includes travel to our sites as required.

**Responsibilities**
- **Project Planning & Start-Up**:

- Coordinate pre-construction activities including permits, safety documents, and subcontractor onboarding

**Progress & Execution Support**
- Liaise with the superintendent daily to capture and monitor job site updates
- Track and update project schedules and milestone completions
- Maintain submittal logs, track RFIs, and follow up on outstanding documentation
- Communicate effectively with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Assist in ordering materials and tracking deliveries
- Monitor site needs such as safety documentation, signage, equipment, and PPE

**Documentation & Communication**
- Prepare meeting minutes, job progress reports, and internal updates
- Maintain up-to-date records of change orders, contract documents, and supplier agreements
- Ensure all compliance documentation is submitted and stored properly (MSDS, toolbox talks, etc.)
- Handle general administrative duties such as timesheet collection, PO submissions, and expense reports
- Act as a point of contact between office and field to ensure flow of communication and expectations

**Project Close-Out & Handover**
- Coordinate project close-out documentation including warranties, final inspections, and deficiency lists
- Compile turnover packages for clients
- Track and confirm completion of punch list items
- Support internal post-project reviews and lessons learned
- Create and maintain project-specific document sets (drawings, specifications, scope)
- Set up and maintain project files (digital and/or hard copy) in accordance with company standards
- Support the development and distribution of project schedules
- Attend project kick-off meetings and record key action items
- **Qualifications & Education**:

- **Highly developed management & coordination skill set supported with exceptional organizational & systematic thinking**:

- Strong communicator & listener with a strong command of English
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, SharePoint, & Word
- Preference will be given to those coming from a construction background, especially those from civil or concrete construction
- Post-secondary education in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with contract documents, specifications, & construction drawings.
- Valid Class 5 Non-GDL license with a CLEAN 3-year driver's abstract
- Prior experience in a construction or civil engineering role (concrete experience preferred).
- Has a strong familiarity with Edmonton & surrounding areas (industrial sites, industrial zones, commercial zones, local developments)
