Job Overview:
You'll join our Construction Team as a Concrete Working Foreman/woman where you'll be responsible for overseeing daily site activities, carpenters, finishers, & labourers to ensure that work is completed efficiently & to the project specifications.

You'll have a proactive, solutions orientated, improvement driven mindset regarding team & project performance. You can comfortably handle planning materials, equipment, and labourer as required to meet project timelines & deadlines. In addition, you have the foresight to plan ahead accordingly to ensure a smooth execution as projects progress. Furthermore, you have a methodical approach to dealing the with problems on site regardless of what they are, while overseeing daily activities & ensuring safety of your crew, and understand how to communicate changing conditions effectively to your superintendent.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by cleaning, leveling, and setting up forms
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete using hand tools and equipment
- Smooth and finish surfaces using trowels, screeds, and other tools
- Install rebar and wire mesh for reinforcement purposes
- Assist with the placement and finishing of concrete slabs, walls, and other structures
- Operate power tools such as jackhammers and concrete saws as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Concrete Laborer or similar role preferred
- Ability to read blueprints & schematics for construction projects
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore or others.
- Basic knowledge of construction estimating and budgeting
- Strong physical stamina & the ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent hand-eye coordination & manual dexterity
- Ability to work well in a team environment & follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail & commitment to producing high-quality work
- Knowledge of quality control procedures for concrete construction projects

**Salary**: $38.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
