**Human Resources Generalist - Piteau Associates Engineering**

Piteau Associates Engineering Ltd., a Tetra Tech company, is an established Engineering firm providing quality Geotechnical and Hydrogeologic services since 1976. We require a **Human Resources Generalist** to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full-time position which will provide a wide range of duties and responsibilities. Reporting to and working closely with the Senior Vice President - Finance and Administration, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day operation of the company.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Participate in the maintenance and streamlining of recruitment procedures such as standardized job descriptions, postings, interview and selection process, etc.;
- Develop a standard on-boarding process for new hires and support in end-to-end onboarding requirements;
- Liaise with parent company to leverage and implement existing HR tools and processes in accordance with parent company procedures and requirements;
- Provide support in elevating existing performance review process and implementing best practices;
- Implement standardized training and professional development systems and procedures;
- Support in annual salary review process and any other rhythm of business or employee life-cycle related activities;
- Answer staff queries and provide information and explanations related to policies, procedures, and benefit plans; and
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.

**This position requires the following skills and experience**:

- Formal post-secondary education in human resources or related discipline;
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources with potential consideration for an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Strong administrative and organization skills;
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suites;
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize;
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral), with fluency in Spanish an asset.
