We are currently seeking an **Accounts Receivable Clerk **to join the team in our **Richmond Hill **location. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for coordinating and organizing collections of accounts receivable and approval of contract change orders. The individual must develop good rapport with customers and project contacts.

**This role is an office based role and does not have the option of Work from home.**

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Contact customers regarding past due payments of accounts in accordance with company guidelines and procedures
- Work closely with Management, Billings Assistants, A/R and Billing Teams to reconcile and resolve receivable matters to ensure timely payments
- Monitor and maintain aged A/R portfolio while achieving target departmental goals and KPI’s
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the client base (both external and internal)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer files on the Accounts Receivable Collections Systems
- Maintain all records and files in accordance with records retention standards
- Prepare and obtain approval on change orders
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education
- At least 1 year of A/R experience within the Construction Industry, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and ability to function as part of a team
- Bilingual in French is considered an asset.
- Sound computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience with LP systems and Microsoft Navision would be an asset
- Demonstrates good judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
- Strong organizational skills with focus on accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines all the while being detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and complete work with a high degree of accuracy, judgment and integrity
