Our client, a thriving mid-sized manufacturing firm with about 30 dedicated employees, is on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented individual who is eager to advance their career within our expanding company. We are seeking a versatile professional to fill the dual role of Bookkeeper and HR Manager, tasked with managing the burgeoning administrative demands of our front office.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Book Keeping and Office Management**_
- Provide a high level of administrative support by answering and directing in-coming calls, overseeing mail, housekeeping, shared office space and maintaining office supplies. Greet all visitors to the office and re-direct to internal staff as necessary. Sort and distribute all incoming mail.
- Accounts Payable - Enter all approved Vendor invoices into the bookkeeping software ensuring accuracy and correctness of all data entry tasks. Liase with internal staff as well as external parties to ensure suppliers are paid on time and in accordance with internal procedures. Generate the Approved Payments list and submit to Payments department for payment to vendors. Post all payments in the Book Keeping System. Maintain physical filing of invoices.
- Accounts Receivable - create and send out all company invoices to customers. Maintain an Accounts Receivable aging summary and make contact with customers to maintain payment receipts per internal policies and procedures. Post all received payments in the Book Keeping system.
- Other office management and maintenance duties as required.
- **Human Resources**_
- Administer Payroll every 2 weeks - check and verify hours of all employees. Verify pay rates, make changes as necessary. Ensure time collection is accurate and continues to collect correct information. Submit all payroll hours to external Payroll Service provider for payment of the payroll every 2 weeks.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, Outlook - are a requirement. Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with QuickBooks is an asset.
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Strong Organizational skills, reliable, and resourceful
- Analytical thinking and pays attention to detail - detail oriented is a must
- Flexible in a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 2 years (required)
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
