Core Responsibilities
Lead the Costco in-store and online business, as well as the Canadian Tire (CTC) and the Loblaws (LCL) businesses through collaborative planning, strong partnership and a drive for growth. Deliver outstanding Costco.ca results with support from our in-house ecommerce specialists. Lead pallet program development using data insights to select products that help grow our active consumer base, and align with US Costco executions, where possible. Support the Costco, CTC and LCL businesses by leading with data insights and analytics and go to market execution. Develop brand awareness and provide strategic thought leadership to the Costco, CTC, LCL buying and marketing functions. The Key Account Manager for the Costco, CTC and LCL businesses is a vital member of the LEGO team in helping to drive execution of the business plans and as the owner of key growth initiatives. Some of the other primary responsibilities include:
Build and achieve the joint business plans for the Costco, CTC, LCL businesses. Partner with Operations by delivering clear assumption-based forecasts and leading customer operational execution. Be the main call point for the key customer contacts, our brand protection initiatives, our in-store and digital strategy, as well as other key test & learn innovation efforts designed to put more of our products in consumers hands and grow our business.

This Key Account Manager role is part of an eight-person Sales team and reports directly into the General Manager of Canada.
The Sales team works closely with Operations and Marketing in the management and development of the overall Canadian business.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for development and follow through of daily tasks across a broad range of areas (where applicable), including promotional planning, administration, funding management, planograms (POG) planning and ad hoc analysis.
This role provides dedicated account support to our new and upcoming customers. This role is key to helping the LEGO Group reach more children through channels that have an opportunity to grow under more dedicated focus.
Do you have what it takes?
- Minimum 5 years related experience in consumer packaged goods, leading key accounts with experience in the development and implementation of joint business plans.
- Strong understanding and experience with digital commerce and market executions
- Exhibits outstanding business management, negotiation skills, team orientation, leadership, strong communication skills and analytical capabilities
- Experienced in planning, with strong organizational and execution abilities
- Self-motivated, with an ability to collaborate, while thriving in a team setting
- Must have proven demonstration of the LEGO Leadership Playground behaviours of Bravery (Innovation), Curiosity (Learners Mind) and Focus (Delivery & Accountability).
- Sophisticated written and verbal English skills
