Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join our physiotherapy clinic. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere while managing the daily operations of the clinic. This role requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients, visitors, and staff with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Register new patients, update patient records, and verify insurance information.
- Coordinate patient flow and assist therapists to ensure a smooth and efficient clinic experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic.
- Oversee the clinic's administrative operations, including managing schedules, coordinating appointments, and ensuring effective use of resources.
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Prepare and manage billing processes, including verifying insurance coverage, submitting claims, and handling payments.

**Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in management or related field is a plus.
- Preferably previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, in a healthcare or physiotherapy setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using office software and equipment, such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance procedures, and billing practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 20 per week
