We are looking for an Accounting Manager to grow our Finance team.

The Accounting Manager will oversee the accounting, financial reporting operations and internal financial control procedures for North America (Canada and USA) and Australia / APAC regions (Australia and New Zealand), and to manage the Consolidated Financial reporting and management of global accounting, financial policies, and procedures. This is a small but complex global organization.

Key Accountabilities include:

- Manage a small team in the performance of Financial Transaction Processing (including Customer Billing and Collection, Vendor Invoicing and Payment, Expense Claim Processing, Payroll Processing, Bank, Debit and Credit card reconciliations, Sales tax processing) for Canada, USA and Australia entities and Holding Companies
- Month end close procedures (including revenue recognition and accruals, billing and invoicing cutoff, expense accruals, balance sheet adjustments and amortizations, Intercompany reconciliation, Balance Sheet reconciliation, Project P&L reporting, and Financial Statement reporting
- Maintain the global accounting procedures, global chart of accounts and internal financial control policies.
- Manage the corporate month end close procedures including researching and booking complex accounting issues/transactions, consolidating the monthly financials, preparing financial reports to management and the Board of Directors, and other financial reporting when needed.
- Manage the tax return preparation for the companies.
- Manage any financial statement assurance engagements with third parties.

Key Requirements
- Accounting designation
- 3+ years’ experience managing a finance team or finance projects - specifically around month end close, accounting.
- Experience managing a Global accounting / finance team would be an asset
- Ability to work with all levels in an organization.
