Dalco Services is a leading industrial coating contractor with business throughout Western Canada.

We are currently recruiting an additional abrasive blaster and coater to support our shop operations in Red Deer, Alberta. This is a full-time employee position.

**Summary of Essential Job Functions**
- Special focus on safety of themselves and others in their work area
- Understanding of industry standards (SSPC, NACE, OH&S), and ability to perform
- Able to troubleshoot and maintain blasting equipment.
- Ability to follow complex instruction and attention to detail are required.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Industrial abrasive blasting experience required (structural, piping, vessels).
- Knowledge of maintenance and operation of abrasive blasting and related equipment.
- Spray Urethanes, 100% Solids Epoxies & Polyurea's to specifications
- Ability to run a plural component pump an asset
- Brush and roll coatings to specified thickness
- Experience with HV and LV holiday testing
- Trouble Shoot and Maintain Pumps (Airless, Plural Component etc) as well as HVLP guns and pressure pots
- Willing to learn and take direction - Safety, Quality & Team Orientated.
- Ability to work at our Red Deer shop daily (day shift).
- Highly organized, able to prioritize project requirements and schedules.

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years abrasive blasting (sandblasting) and coating in an industrial setting.
- Punctual, engaged, good communication skills & fit for duty always.
- AMPP (NACE, SSPC) certifications considered a strong asset.

**Location & Schedule**

Shop Location: Red Deer, Alberta

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00AM start time.

Typical Hours: 40-50 Hours / Week

Overtime on as needed basis

Opportunity to support field operations if requested by Employee

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.53-$36.70 per hour
