Cobalt Industrial Supply is a leading distributor of industrial products, committed to providing our customers with the solutions they need for smooth and efficient operations. As our Outside Sales Representative, you will be the face of Cobalt Industrial Supply, building strong partnerships with existing and potential customers in the Red Deer area.
**Responsibilities**
- Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities within the Red Deer industrial market.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at customer accounts.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions from our extensive product catalog.
- Present product demonstrations and technical information effectively.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities and managing customer accounts.
- Provide feedback on market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
**Qualifications**
- Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably within the industrial supply or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of industrial products.
- Knowledge of power transmission products (bearings, chain, electric motors, drives, v-belts....) and welding products will be an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing abilities.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping customers succeed.
- Business development experience is highly desirable.
