We are currently recruiting an Shop Sandblaster to support our sandblasting and coating shop operations in Red Deer, Alberta. This is a full-time position based primarily at our shop in Red Deer..

**Summary of Essential Job Functions**
- Special focus on safety of themselves and others in their work area
- Understanding of industry standards (SSPC, NACE, OH&S), and ability to perform
- Able to troubleshoot and maintain blasting equipment.
- Ability to follow complex instruction and attention to detail are required.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Industrial abrasive blasting experience required.
- Knowledge of maintenance and operation of abrasive blasting and related equipment.
- Willing to learn and take direction - Safety, Quality & Team Orientated.
- Ability to work at our Red Deer shop daily (day shift).
- Highly organized, able to prioritize project requirements and schedules.

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years abrasive blasting (sandblasting) in an industrial setting.
- Punctual, engaged, good communication skills & fit for duty always.
- AMPP certification required
- Confined Space and CSTS required

**Location & Schedule**

Shop Location: Red Deer, Alberta

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00AM start time.

Typical Hours: 40-50 Hours / Week

Overtime on as needed basis

Opportunity to support field operations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.63-$38.17 per hour
