**Description**: **Why We Need You**: Our B2B Sales department is looking for a **B2B Sales Lead Qualifier** to fully own the top of our B2B sales funnel. You will be the first point of contact prospective B2B clients have with Article. Who are these elusive clients, you ask? We sell to Interior Designers or other businesses directly (restaurants, architects, residential contractors, home stages, property managers and developers) offering them discounts, specialized support, and other exclusive perks. Most of the time, you will be that first impression to these clients of the Article Brand. You get to fully own the top of the sales funnel. In addition, the B2B department is evolving its current processes, and you will be an active contributor to evolving the team's Sales playbook. We want to set expectations, this role requires cold calling, and you have to be someone who loves the chase. This is an **entry-level role,** but we would like to see you have a little bit of sales experience. We aren’t asking for a ton, just a dash we want you to take the opportunity to sharpen your sales skills further and really own the role. The compensation is purely salary based combined with our company stock options, meaning there is no commission or bonus. You’ll do all this while growing your skills within a company that is redefining the furniture industry. This is a hybrid role - what does that mean? You’ll come into the office 2-3 days per week to meet with prospective clients - this will be your chance to show off our furniture collection. The team usually comes into the office from Tuesday to Thursday. **What You'll Do**: - Overseeing all top-of-funnel sales activities surrounding new Article B2B clients, - Establishing first communication with new leads to gather additional information regarding current and/or potential needs to determine account viability and growth potential. - Assigning leads to the B2B Sales Team based on lead scoring and determining potential. - Identify and qualify incoming leads to determine the potential for growth and repeat business through research. - Proactively engaging those in the sales pipeline through activation and reactivation initiatives. - Assisting Account Managers with preliminary research on their outbound prospects - With the help of the B2B Program Manager, developing and tracking the effectiveness of outreach programs. - Hosting client meetings in the Vancouver HQ showroom - Cultivating relationships with sales clients using clear communication and a customer-obsessed continuous improvement mindset. - Working closely and collaboratively with Account Managers to develop and implement prospecting strategies.
