Burnaby, Canada Mitchell Installations Ltd. Full time

Mitchell Installations Ltd, a mechanical and general contractor located in Burnaby, is currently searching for an accounting assistant to join our accounting team. This position will be responsible for a high volume of Accounts Payable as well as Accounts Receivable and supporting on quarterly and year ends. If you have at least 1-2 years of experience in high volume accounts payable and receivable and are looking for an opportunity for a long-term stable position with opportunity to grow into a key role with higher pay, this may be the role for you.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assists accounts payable in collecting packing slips, matching purchase orders, coding, account reconciliation, and check runs
- Process employee expense claims
- Prepare vouchers and invoices
- Make bank deposits
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliation
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records, including reconciliations, additions and disposals.
- Assist in the preparation of schedules for quarter and year end
- Perform related clerical duties and other related duties as required

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- 1~2 years of experience in accounting payable/Accounts Receivable
- Degree or Diploma in accounting, finance, or related field
- Excellent communication abilities in English
- Experience in using Sage 50
