**About us**

Job Responsibilities
- Entering assigned data into the accounting system on a timely and accurate basis
- Ensure the accuracy of coding for all entries as required
- Responsible for recording financial transactions such as sales, purchases, and payments made by the company.
- Setting up new vendors and posting approved invoices and payment receipts in a timely and accurate manner
- Obtaining all relevant invoice documentation and statement of accounts
- Matching invoices to purchasing orders or obtain required approvals.
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Match credit card statement to receipts, record, and post expenses as coded.
- Posting intercompany journal entries between parent and subsidiary companies
- Responding to inquiries concerning data or records managed by the accounting department
- Ensure that the company is in compliance with all tax laws and regulations, and that all tax payments and filings are made on time.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, which involves estimating the company's future financial performance and planning for future expenses and investments
- Compile and archive physical invoices on monthly basis
- Other tasks as delegated by the Senior Accountant
- Assist Management with administrative tasks as required
- Handle any day to day matters including sensitive and confidential situations with a high degree of tact, confidentiality and professionalism
- Initiate onboarding and offboarding process for new hires
- Assist with preparing company events

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 2 years (required)
- Bookkeeping: 2years (required)

Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years previous working experience in an accounting position
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting is a MUST.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with Quickbooks Online, Excel and MS Word for Windows
- Working knowledge of computerized accounting system and spreadsheets
- Minimum typing speed of at least 60 w.p.m. and ability to use a calculator
- Strong organization skills and time management
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Open to learning and improving own skills with a can-do attitude
- Able to follow processes and work diligently with mínimal supervision
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
