We market to both residential and commercial clients looking for reliable moving, storage, and packing services, emphasizing professionalism, skilled experience, and exceptional service. As we grow, we are looking for a part-time Junior Accounting Assistant to help facilitate certain accounting duties.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR):

- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and backup
- Track overdue invoices and communicate with customers to ensure timely payments
- Work with internal sales teams to resolve any billing disputes
- Maintain detailed records of collection efforts and payment agreements.

**Storage Container Booking & Billing**:

- Manage billing of storage containers for customers
- Ensure all charges are correctly applied and documented
- Coordinate with operations to verify container storage outstanding payments

**Job Profitability Calculation**:

- Analyze expenses associated with each moving job
- Assist in calculating job profitability

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in AP, AR, and collections is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Hubdocs).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
