**Role**
The Administrative Assistant reports to the Manager of Product Development and works closely with the Product Development team in the development of new product lines.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide a high level of administrative support within the product department
- Schedule and organize meetings
- Organize sample bags
- Performing general office management tasks
- Work closely with suppliers regarding samples and production
- Create and maintain spec sheets and product database
- Follow up with factories on all pending samples
- Create, update and maintain all working documents, product release schedules and description sheets
- Send new purchase orders to Purchasing Department
- Coordinate samples with the product photography team
- Maintain organization of photo files for all samples
- Photograph new production samples
- Collaborate with the Product Development Manager to send approvals and comments to factories regarding colors, sizing and construction.
- Update Prototype Sheets
**Requirements**:
- University or College Degree
- 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Must be proficient in MS suite Office, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop
- Bilingual - French and English (written & oral). Must be able to effectively communicate in English
- Easily manage time and priorities and is extremely organized
- Passionate, self-motivated, detail-oriented and works well under pressure

**Rôle**
Le rôle de l’assistant administratif rapport au gestionnaire du développement de produit et travaille étroitement avec l’équipe de développement de produit dans le développement de nouvelles gammes de produits.
**Responsabilités**
- Fournir un haut niveau de soutien administratif au sein du département des produits
- Planifiez les rendez-vous
- Organiser les sacs d'échantillons
- Effectuer des tâches générales de gestion de bureau
- Collaborer étroitement avec les fournisseurs concernant les échantillons et la production
- Créer et gérer des fiches techniques et des bases de données de produits
- Suivi avec les usines sur tous les échantillons en attente
- Créent, mettent à jour et maintiennent tous les documents de travail, le cédule d’arrivage des nouveaux produits et les livres des prix
- Communication générale de courriel avec les usines d’outre-mer et départements à l’interne
- Envoyer de nouvelles commandes au département d’achats
- Coordonner avec l’équipe de photographie de produit
- Maintenir l’organisation de fichiers photo pour tous les échantillons
- Photographier de nouveaux échantillons de production
- Collaborer avec le responsable du développement de produits pour envoyer des approbations et des commentaires aux usines concernant les couleurs, le dimensionnement et la construction.
- Mise à jour des feuilles de prototype
**Exigences**
- Diplôme universitaire ou collégial
- 3 ans d'expérience dans un rôle semblable
- Doit être compétent dans MS suite Office, Adobe InDesign et Adobe Photoshop
- Bilingue - Français et anglais (écrit et oral). Doit être en mesure de communiquer efficacement en anglais
- Gérer facilement le temps et les priorités et est extrêmement organisé
- Passionné, motivé par le détail, axé sur le détail et fonctionne bien sous pression
- Fonctionne bien de façon autonome mais aussi au sein d'une équipe
