Ace Beverage Group is looking for an Events Coordinator in British Columbia The Events Coordinator plays a pivotal role in Ace Beverage Group’s experiential marketing (XM) strategy by supporting the planning and execution of events, sampling programs, and brand experiences for ABG’s portfolio of brands in British Columbia. The Event Coordinator reports to the Events and Activations Manager (based in Toronto) and is a key member of the marketing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help shape ABG’s XM strategy by identifying new opportunities and collaborating with the Events and Activations Manager to develop innovative ideas, enhancing future brand activations and events.
- Drive the launch of ABG’s innovation portfolio through creative sampling and activation strategies, targeting key sampling objectives and amplifying liquid-to-lips engagement.
- Assist the Events and Activations Manager in seamlessly executing internal and external events by managing day-to-day operations and logistics.
- Independently oversee and manage local and private events, ensuring their success.
- Recruit, lead, and guide a dedicated seasonal sampling team, providing support during setup, execution, and teardown of various events, including festivals, concerts, national sporting events, on-premise promotional events, event sponsorships, etc.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing team, as well as external XM agencies and production partners, to facilitate and support a range of initiatives.
- Organizing printing of assets, load-ins and load-outs, product orders, and delivery of assets.
- Leading point of contact for all Tier 2 and 3 events out West, with support from the Events Manager in Toronto.

**Job Requirements and Competencies**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or other related degree
- At least 1 year of experience in XM (experiential marketing)/Events
- Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
- Previous experience in CPG, beverage alcohol and/or other regulated industries is an asset
- You are willing to work a flexible working schedule which may include weekends, holidays, evenings with light travel
- You have a passion for the beverage industry - especially RTD/Beer/Spirits
- You don’t shy away from a challenge and you find creative solutions to solve problems
- You are an excellent communicator, both internally and with external stakeholders
- You have superior time management skills, coupled with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- You have a strong work ethic and you love to HUSTLE
