Dairy Lane Systems started in 1990 as a Surge milking equipment dealer. Since that time, we have expanded our scope to include automated milking robots, stabling, manure management, plumbing and ventilation services. Most recently, we acquired 2 milking equipment dealerships in Western Canada. In addition to the milking equipment sales, service and installation business, we are also involved in the design, build and operation of renewable energy biogas plants (DLS Biogas), the construction of agricultural structures (DLS Structures) and the manufacturing of dairy farm equipment (DLS Manufacturing).

**Job Requirements**

Responsible for ensuring office financial objectives are met by working with the General Manager to process all accounting/financial functions (including A/R, A/P)

Use SAP and our timekeeping system (Replicon) to invoice clients based on work order and sales order data

Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and entered into SAP

Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands

Prepare and process bank deposits

Answer and connect all incoming calls with the appropriate department

Organize and schedule meetings and appointments

Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time

Provide general support to visitors/handle customer inquiries

Coordinate orientation and training of new staff members

Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data

**Skills and Qualifications**

Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration

1-2 years of general accounting experience

2 - 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience

Understanding of the full accounting cycle

Accounts receivable experience is required as well as experience with project/service billing

Proven office management, administrative, or assistant experience

Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures

Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and planning skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Knowledge of business accounting cycle and management principles

Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where your workday will rarely be the same but will always be exciting
