Conservation Visions Inc. is a Newfoundland-based private company focused on wildlife conservation policy, communication and research at the local, regional and international level. Conservation Visions serves its partners and clients by establishing key research related to conservation issues and solutions; generating critical messaging to communicate findings; mobilizing this information and messaging to reach the right audiences; and connecting thought leaders to enable meaningful and informed dialogue on conservation issues.

**Position**:
This is an exciting and rare opportunity for individuals with an interest in biodiversity conservation, conservation history and policy development, human cultural diversity, sustainable natural resource use, the wild biodiversity economy, and One Health. Positions are full-time permanent with non-negotiable 3-month probationary terms. All applicants will be contacted. Applicants selected for interviews will be required to provide writing samples for evaluation. Compensation commensurate with education and experience.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree, minimum, with Master’s or PhD preferred. Appropriate disciplinary backgrounds include, but are not limited to, environmental science, biodiversity conservation, natural resource management, biology, and political science.
- Experience working with large datasets
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and a proven ability to graphically represent data and key messaging
- Strong research capabilities
- Excellent writing skills, including the ability to understand, synthesize and translate technical material into text that is accessible to all readers and prepare short copy (fact sheets and web-based text) as well as long copy (research proposals and reports) for a broad range of audiences
- Knowledge of global conservation and environmental issues

- Must be able to handle multiple assignments with shifting timelines and priorities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
