Job Description

Role: Volunteer Writer (Unpaid)

Are you passionate about the arts and love to write? Rock & Art Cultural Outreach is seeking creative Writers to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, build your portfolio, and contribute to a respected cultural publication.

Responsibilities:

  • Write Articles: Produce engaging and well-researched articles on topics related to music and visual arts.
  • Conduct Interviews: Connect with artists and musicians to create compelling interview pieces.
  • Collaborate with Editors: Work closely with our editorial team to refine your work and ensure it meets our publication standards.
  • Meet Deadlines: Commit to submitting articles on time to align with our editorial schedule.
  • Generate Ideas: Contribute fresh and innovative ideas for articles and features.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Native English Speaker: A strong command of English is essential.
  • Writing Experience: Previous experience in writing, whether professionally or as a hobby, is preferred.
  • Creativity: Ability to craft unique and captivating stories.
  • Research Skills: Capability to conduct thorough research and present information accurately.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Passion for the Arts: A genuine interest in music and visual arts is highly desirable.
