The
**Fountain Tire**
**Vaughan Distribution Centre** is currently looking for a Warehouse Lead to join their team.

First started in 1956 in Wainwright, Alberta, Fountain Tire expertly combines key factors such as experienced owners, licensed automotive technicians, and quality products to form a company driven to serve. Today, we have over 160 stores spanning as far west as Victoria, British Columbia and as far east as Vaughan, Ontario.

**Wage**: $21 - $23 /hour

**As a Warehouse Lead, each day will bring new opportunities, but you will always be involved in**:

- Assist in the management of the operation of the distribution center by ensuring resources are in place and processes are being executed effectively
- Inventory Control
- Assist in managing all processes related to the transportation and on-time delivery of goods to customers with a goal to minimize expenses. Ensuring Fountain Tire Supply processes for contracted freight companies are adhered to, and are designed to meet the requirements of the Distribution Centre and its customers.
- Run applicable reports from the operational checklist, and other monthly reporting as required.
- Resolve escalated distribution issues with customers.
- Assist in reviewing, approving and completing payroll daily.
- Works with DC Manager on key HR processes for associate on shift, including hiring, terminating, performance reviews, role changes and salary changes.
- Responsible for growing and developing a progressive team through industry and career focused Learning and Development, ongoing performance feedback and coaching, and open communication.
- Ensure the Program of Safety Excellence is implemented, adhered to and kept current according to the program and legislated requirements.
- Complete special projects and other related duties as assigned.

**What does it take to get on track?**
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse, transportation, and customer service operational procedures (previous experience in the tire industry is an asset)
- Proven ability to lead and work within a team environment; this includes performance management, coaching and team building skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, organizational and time management skills to prioritize competing demands.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders; this includes excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate a team to achieve operational performance measurement targets.
- Completion of a High School diploma
- 5+ years working in the distribution industry
- 5+ years experience in a supervisory role
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience in managing a warehouse and customer service staff is considered a strong asset.
- Supply Chain Management courses and certificates are considered a strong asset.
- Forklift Certification / Fall Safety Certification
