We are currently seeking a Warehouse Lead Hand professionals to add to our exceptional team.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Ascertains that product is picked, checked and shipped according to established standards and in accordance with current procedures
- Ensures crew members have the appropriate equipment and tools necessary to perform their jobs
- Is an active and committed participant in the Company H&S program, ensures ongoing team member compliance with all H&S policies and procedures
- In conjunction with Operation manager, determines work procedures, and expedites workflow, assigns duties and examines work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures
- Load and unload delivery trucks both by hand and using a forklift (Counterbalance) and record shipping/receiving accurately in our ERP system
- Receive and examine incoming material for discrepancies/damages
- Perform accurate cycle counts of inventory on a daily basis
- Ensure customers’ shipments are picked-up and delivered timely and damage free
- Understand the wide array of capabilities and schedule of designated carriers and make appropriate matches to customer requirements
- Understand transportation and industry market conditions throughout North America; seasonal vs. non-seasonal and communicate with the entire team issues that could impact operations as a whole
- Coordinate carrier bookings, following throughout the duration of the order and communicating with the customer as required
- Mitigate additional charges and assist with maintaining the accuracy of carrier information
- Maintain strong relationships, demonstrate consistent, positive energy with all internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for the timely, accurate and appropriate escalation of issues

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of direct work experience in a warehouse environment as a Lead Hand and/or in Logistics
- Counterbalance licenses required
- Knowledge of WHMIS and other safety systems
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word,
- Strong knowledge of warehouse documentation
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Strong quantitative and critical thinking skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year
