The **Dedicated Billing Manager** is responsible to lead, drive, direct and coach Dedicated Billing teams in the Shared Services Organization. The position will develop and mange KPI’s ensuring invoices are completed accurately and are delivered to the customer ontime. You will promote a positive environment while overseeing invoice creation and deployment for services under Day & Ross Canada - US and CDN Dedicated Contract Logistics. Lead the team to meet/exceed all Service Level Agreements related to Billing; while maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement, waste elimination and providing best in class customer service (internal/external).
**How You’ll Help**
- Ensure team is complying with audit and risk requirements
- Coordinate business and resource planning, as well as, budget management for Billing areas of responsibility under Shared Services for Day & Ross Canada and USA
- Drive and ensure accountability to meet/exceed established Service Level Agreements; including: monitoring and maintaining management tracking tools, daily review of work processing volumes, creating a work plan with the team and aligning resources to ensure daily goals are met
- Create, implement and monitor revenue assurance initiatives to protect company revenue
- Identify, implement and support Administrate projects and any other initiatives impacting Shared Services relating to Dedicated Contracts
- Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders across all business functions ensuring the alignment of key business objectives and optimizing our efforts towards a shared corporate goal
- Communicate and implement changing policy directives
- Manage the development of staff, tracking of daily/monthly productivity and errors
- Coordinate and collaborate with staff to resolve operating problems and difficulties
- Develop/update department operational procedures within corporate framework
- Provide support to any number of projects on behalf of Shared Services
**Your Skills & Experience**:
- This role requires a degree in business administration or equivalent business and/or transportation experience. Preference would be given to someone with a CPA designation. Minumum of two (2) years of management experience. Excellent negotiating skill, organizational skills, leadership and communication skills are essential for success. Additional experience in project management, budgeting, accounting and operations would be strong assets., Coming from a transportation or heavy industrial Company would be considered an asset.
- 2 years experience in a managerial role within transportation
- The incumbent must be able to develop plans & people, set objectives, and understand the administrative needs for the business. Requires working closely with and understanding all functional groups within the business and their specific needs.
- English, other languages an asset
- Cdn Dedicated Logistics - Teamlead
- Some travel required
- Busy office environment with extensive computer work and handling of documentation
- May be required to visit other locations, including offices, terminals, maintenance shops, etc.
