**Coordinator & Supporter Position**:
Do you have strong leadership skills and collaborate well with others?

A **Supporter & Team Coordinator position **is open. This role will assist a woman in north Oshawa with weekly direct support and help with coordination of her support team.

If you enjoy working with people to build community connections, live a fulfilling life and team building, then this could be the position for you. People would describe you as being empathetic and someone who is reliable and committed.

Part of your role will include building a trusting relationship with the woman and support team. The **Coordinator Role** is involved in all aspects of support and modelling mindfulness interaction with the team. You will assist with support scheduling, supporter time invoices, participate in team meetings, weekly task list, medication & supply orders and additional responsibilities.

You will ensure the home continues to provide a deep sense of personal safety and comfort for the woman. Become familiar with daily routines, personal care required, meal planning, and household management etc. The **Coordinator** will help to create a communication system that works for everyone, such as a group text or scheduling app. Having strong technology skills is a must. In this role you will be in partnership with the woman and establishing a solid support team and plan.

In the **Supporter role** you will assist with personal care, physiotherapy exercises, batch cooking, general cleaning, accompany to appointments, grocery shopping, laundry, social events, and additional responsibilities. You will offer compassion and emotional support during times of transition and change.

**Requirements**:

- Vulnerable sector police check
- Independent Support Worker insurance is a must.
- First Aid & CPR
- Driver’s Licence and own car
- **Availability for Support**:_
- _Tuesdays 5:30pm-9:30pm, Wednesday 12pm-2pm, Wednesday 5pm-7pm, Thursdays 5:30pm-9:30pm_
- _Rate: $30 per hour_
- **Availability for Coordination**:_
- _Rate: Monthly Stipend - $312.00_
- This is a Self-employed Independent Support Worker/Coordinator_ _position._ _This position works directly with a family and all scheduling and training is family lead. _
- Professional References will be requested._

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
