Under the supervision of our Purchaser, we are hiring a **Purchasing Assistant**.
The individual will fully support the needs of our purchasing department as well as working closely with all other areas of the Company including customer service, production, warehousing, service and accounting.
This position involves working with all areas of the company and interaction with our suppliers around the world.
Some of the duties include:
- Purchase order creation, transmission, and management
- Purchasing inbound traffic - domestic and overseas
- Review of inventory levels, min/max and reorder points as well as inventory replenishment
- Sourcing new supplies and new items as required
- Updating inventory receipts, adjustments and uses as required
- Coordinate with production for manufactured products to ensure that they are received on time and entered in our inventory
- Inventory adjustments, cycle counts and updates to ensure accurate inventory
- Other functions as required

- Permanent Position
- Standard work week: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. Typically 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Benefit package (health and dental) after 3 months of service; 80% paid by FEDP
- Regular social events
- Friday summer hours
- Convenient and centralized location in Ville Saint-Laurent, accessible by car or public transportation

Required:
- 1-3 years minimum experience in a similar position (preferred but not required)
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- **Fast Learner / Common sense / Resourceful**:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
- **Knowledge Required**:_
Technical Tools
- Experience with SAP Business One an asset
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
Language
- Excellent level of English (written and spoken)
- Intermediate spoken French

**Description du poste**
Sous la supervision de notre Acheteur, nous recrutons un(e) **Assistant(e) aux achats**.
La personne retenue appuiera pleinement les besoins de notre département des achats et collaborera étroitement avec tous les autres secteurs de l’entreprise, y compris le service à la clientèle, la production, l’entreposage, le service et la comptabilité.
Ce poste implique une interaction avec l’ensemble des services internes ainsi qu’avec nos fournisseurs à l’international.
**Responsabilités principales**:
- Création, transmission et gestion des bons de commande
- Gestion du trafic entrant (achats) - national et international
- Révision des niveaux d'inventaire, des minimums/maximums, des points de commande et du réapprovisionnement
- Recherche de nouveaux fournisseurs et de nouveaux produits selon les besoins
- Mise à jour des réceptions d'inventaire, ajustements et utilisations
- Coordination avec la production pour s'assurer que les produits fabriqués sont reçus à temps et bien enregistrés dans l'inventaire
- Ajustements d'inventaire, comptages cycliques et mises à jour pour assurer l'exactitude
- Autres tâches connexes
**Conditions d’emploi**:
- Poste permanent
- Horaire de travail standard : 37,5 heures par semaine, du lundi au vendredi (habituellement de 8 h 30 à 17 h 00)
- Régime d’avantages sociaux (santé et dentaire) après 3 mois de service - 80 % payé par FEDP

- Horaire d’été les vendredis
- Localisation pratique et centrale à Ville Saint-Laurent, accessible en voiture ou en transport en commun

**Formation et expérience**:

- Expérience mínimale de 1 à 3 ans dans un poste similaire (préférée mais non obligatoire)
- Excellentes aptitudes en organisation et en planification
- Excellentes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles
- Capacité d’apprentissage rapide / Bon sens / Débrouillardise
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement rapide et stimulant
