**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise the daily activities of the buyers for all Canadian Sites;
- Provide training and ongoing support to team members and create training documents for on-boarding;
- Review inventory levels and coordinate with team on replenishment strategies;
- Provide guidance to team members on strategy and priorities;
- Collaborate with other Techo-Bloc departments on procurement related needs;
- Support project and continuous improvement efforts;
- Assist in annual pricing review, supplier negotiations and supplier performance;
- Evaluate and analyze purchasing and price trends to identify opportunities to minimize costs;
- Maintain purchasing parameters in AX (trade agreements, supplier/part creation);
- Proactive approach to deal with situations before they become roadblocks;
- Thorough knowledge of purchasing functions, workflow, reports, tasks, etc.;
- Escalation point for supplier issues, payables, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, supply chain or other related fields;
- 3+ years of relevant purchasing experience;
- Good communication skills;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast and growing environment with many competing priorities and deadlines;
- Proactive, solution-oriented and creative;
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft AX/D365 or similar ERP systems;
- Excellent command of Office Suite including Excel;
- Bilingualism orally and written.
