Office Assistant:
Wiz Overhead Doors has been family owned and operated for over 35 years manufacturing industrial doors as well as servicing the GTA and surrounding area.
Our company focuses on building great relationships with our customers and our team.
Wiz is looking to hire an Office Assistant to handle all accounts receivable and accounts payable duties.
**Responsibilities**:
- Preparing invoices from time sheets collected
- Attaching appropriate PO’s to each invoice
- Keeping track of our policies in place and tracking overdue invoices
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Calling suppliers for pricing
- Checking and updating pricing in Quickbooks
- Assisting Operations Manager with daily tasks needed
- Receiving payments and tracking properly
- Able to come up with new ideas
- Able to implement new policies or procedures
- Government remittance including Payroll Tax
- Identify operational and accounting inefficiencies
- Develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures to correct and issues ensuring compliance with accounting policies and guidelines
**Requirements**:
- Quickbooks ( 1 year minimum)
- Microsoft word ( 1 year)
- Excel (1 year)
- Must be self directed with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge in the construction industry ( 2 Years)
- Strong interpersonal skills for the training and coaching activities
**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time
**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
