**Duties**
- Operate roller equipment to compact asphalt or concrete during paving operations.
- Monitor the quality of the surface being paved, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of the roller equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
- Assist in preparing job sites by performing tasks such as digging, loading, and forming concrete as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
**Skills**
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, specifically roller machinery.
- Knowledge of paving techniques and concrete finishing processes.
- Experience with commercial driving is advantageous for transporting equipment to job sites.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality work output.
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as digging and loader operation as required.
This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of paved surfaces and requires a dedicated individual who is willing to contribute positively to the team.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
