Reporting to the Senior Director & Manager, the Real Estate Analyst is enthusiastic about appraisal, valuations, and analytics. This position will be located in one of our offices in Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, St. John's or Vancouver. Within our Research, Valuation, and Advisory division, this role will focus on Canadian Portfolio valuations and analytics. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other analysts and senior team members in this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Appraisal Management: Handle administrative tasks, including quarterly ARGUS ValueInsight setup and client engagement.- Schedule appraiser/client calls and manage quarterly invoicing.- Appraisal: Learn to prepare cash flow models using ARGUS Enterprise.- Use factual data for cash flow models (rent rolls, operating statements).-
- Determine reasonable valuation assumptions.- Appraisal Review: Review third-party appraisal reports.- Review ARGUS Enterprise cash flow model factual and market assumptions.- Compare valuation metrics to benchmark data.- Ensure reports comply with CUSPAP standards.

Key Qualifications:
- University degree, preferably in Real Estate, Commerce, Economics, or Finance.- Open to recent graduates or 1 year of related work experience is preferred.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Excel (if statements, pivot tables, etc.)- Basic skills in creating financial models (i.e. Excel, Argus, etc.)- Excellent research, quantitative and analytical skills- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn- Ability to work in a team and independently
