Office Administrator

**Responsibilities Summary**:
Maintain office supplies and inventory, ensuring availability of necessary items and coordinating purchases when needed.
Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and events, including coordinating calendars and sending out meeting invitations.
Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations as required, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Manage office filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring efficient organization and easy retrieval of information.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, expense reports, and financial documents, and monitor office expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for staff members when necessary.
Act as the primary point of contact for visitors, providing assistance and ensuring a positive and professional experience.
Maintain and update employee records, including attendance, leave, and personal information.
Support HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation.
Assist in the coordination of office maintenance and repairs, liaising with service providers as needed.
Implement and maintain office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
Assist in the coordination of special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Collaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
**Qualifications**:
Education: Psychology undergraduate or master’s degree in psychology or related field.
Preferred Work Experience: At least one year of experience as a psychometrist or related work and/or academic experience (e.g., lab/research work),
Technical Skills Requirements:
MS Office Suite
Additional Requirements:
Must be living and legally entitled to work in Canada, providing satisfactory documentation upon request.
Ability to work effectively and independently remotely, including regular requirements for extended periods of intense concentration.
Ability to work onsite, abiding by organization health and safety policies.
Ability to work occasional overtime to accommodate short notice demands, deadline modifications, or attend meetings and conferences.
