**The Role**:
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the General Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the store, ensuring the fun culture at all times for both guests and staff and assisting the GM in reaching sales targets. We are Hiring for our **El Furniture Warehouse Ottawa Location.**

**Duties**:

- Hires, trains and develops staff.
- Ensures company policies and procedures are followed by all staff. Performance management of all staff.
- Ensures customer service standards are maintained by teaching staff how we do the right thing by going above and beyond, recognizing mistakes and taking steps to correct them, engages guests and creates relationships.
- Overall management of the venue which includes hiring for fit, proactive hiring, new hire administration, accounting administration, cost controls, labor cost, KPIs, inventory and cash management.
- Manages and oversees the FOH/BOH labor targets and scheduling.
- Weekly sales forecast reported to Regional Manager and discussed in weekly manager meeting.
- Manages repair and maintenance of the store within budgets.
- Manages and tracks the QSA, Spill and Void tabs Maintaining a strong presence on the floor during peak times ensuring the Warehouse service standards.
- Performance management of staff.
- Completing daily cash balances.
- Reporting on sales.
- Payroll.

**About You**:

- You have a minimum of two years bar/restaurant management experience.
- A strong working knowledge of Ontario liquor licensing laws and Health and Safety regulations and company policies.
- Competent understanding of store performance targets.
- You have strong leadership skills.
- You're comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
- Conflict resolution for customer and employee complaints, Problem solving, Communicates effectively, Builds strengths of staff
- Is accountable for their actions and decisions while cares about the guest experience and can anticipate issues
- You love to have a good time

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
