**Company Overview**:ITD Industries is a leading Canadian manufacturer of commercial transportation equipment, including van trailers, intermodal chassis and truck bodies. ITD has over 100 employees and counts among its customers the largest retail, rail and transportation businesses in Canada. ITD has recently signed a large export contract and is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to assist with dispatch duties, customs paperwork and vehicle registration work among other related tasks to help enable the seamless flow of deliveries from our Plant in Toronto to Customer location across the USA.

**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Schedule and dispatch drivers based on customer needs and location.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
- Communicate with drivers via phone for route updates, changes, or instructions.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and carriers to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with border regulations.
- Prepare, review, and submit necessary customs paperwork (e.g., bills of lading, manifests, commercial invoices, USMCA certificates, NVIS cards, Plating paper, MSOs, and safety certificates) for cross-border shipments.
- Monitor the status of shipments at ports of entry and resolve customs-related delays or issues.
- Maintain detailed logs of dispatch activities, border crossings, and communication with customs officials.
- Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, operations, engineering, customer service) to ensure smooth delivery processes.
- Respond promptly to service issues, delays, or emergencies, and implement contingency plans as needed.
- Ensure all dispatching and customs practices comply with federal and international regulations.
- Ensure that all loads are pre-cleared to cross customs and that ITD is meeting its aggressive delivery schedule (1-4 loads per week).

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in logistics or transportation is an asset.
- Minimum **3-5 (three to five) years** of experience in dispatching, transportation, or logistics, preferably involving cross-border shipping.
- Familiarity with customs procedures and documentation for imports and exports (U.S./Canada preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in dispatch and logistics software, GPS tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office-based role with regular use of communication systems and dispatch software.
- May require overtime work, including evenings on operating needs.
- Interaction with customs agents may be required.
