ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to understand and fulfill shipping needs.
  • Coordinate local, domestic, and international shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of all required shipping documentation for seamless transitions across borders and deliveries.
  • Provide regular analysis on logistics performance, recommending adjustments to meet shifting priorities and improve efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and carriers regarding shipping inquiries.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure they meet Eventscape's quality standards, timelines, capabilities, and budget requirements.
  • Work closely and provide support with Purchasing by contacting vendors, gathering quotes, and preparing purchase orders as needed.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, optimize costs, reduce lead times, and guarantee supply.

ABOUT YOU

  • 5 years' experience in a logistics/purchasing role
  • exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • strong familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • knowledge of project life cycles and risk management
  • awareness of construction, material specifications, tools, and equipment
  • understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain processes
  • post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business administration an asset
