Etobicoke, Canada I-WAY LOGISTICS INC. Full time

Engage prospective clients through cold calling and networking activities
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and build business internally
- Work with CRM (Customer Relationship Management software)
- Managing customer relationships and entering data
- Contact at least 50 potential customers either face to face or on the phone.
- Provide customer service and develop business relationships with customers.
- Provide clients customized solutions to transportation needs and related issues
- Negotiate pricing to service all prospect and client’s needs
- Develop new leads, and follow-up with prospective sales leads in the Freight industry, coordinating with Freight Brokers and direct-Shippers.
- Negotiate rates and assign carriers to customer’s shipments
- Evaluating/discovering potential business opportunities
- Prepare freight quotations to clients
- Provide quotes to customers

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Working experience in Freight broker and logistics industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outbound call experience
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge and understanding of trucking operations & logistics
- Have a thorough understanding of rating, gross profit and have geographical knowledge
- Solid networking skills
- Sales experience in logistics and trucking industry is an asset.
- Existing customer base is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Commission pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Sales-logistics: 2 years (preferred)
