Dopamina Restaurant is an upcoming fine dining restaurant in the heart of downtown Toronto with a goal to provide its guests with an exceptional upscale experience through its innovative Mediterranean cuisine with Asian influences. We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Restaurant Manager with extensive experience in **luxury/fine dining environments** to join our dynamic team.
**Summary**
This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a driven, dynamic, and passionate hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury restaurant /fine dining management. The Restaurant Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the vision of Dopamina Restaurant. This includes the development of service policies and procedures, creation of an exquisite wine and bar menu, and the training of our front-of-house (FOH) staff.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Craft and implement the restaurant's upscale service policies and procedures, ensuring an unwavering commitment to excellence.
- Collaborate with the team to curate an exceptional wine and bar menu that complements our Mediterranean cuisine with Asian influences, showcasing an extensive knowledge of luxury wine and spirits.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop an exceptional FOH team, fostering a culture of growth and development within the restaurant.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership by creating a positive and engaging work environment, providing ongoing coaching and support to team members, and maintaining a professional and dedicated approach to team management.
- Utilize strong financial acumen to manage labor costs, control expenses, and drive productivity, ensuring optimal efficiency and profitability.
- Oversee the purchasing, management, and inventory control of all FOH and bar supplies, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Develop comprehensive training programs and procedures for the FOH team, ensuring a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
- Collaborate closely with the Back-of-House (BOH) management and staff to execute the restaurant's vision flawlessly, delivering an unparalleled dining experience to our guests.
- Uphold a commitment to excellence in service, ensuring that every guest receives the highest level of hospitality and attention to detail.
**Preferred Skills & Experience**
- Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in **high-end restaurant management**, ideally within luxury/fine dining establishments (Experience in a Michelin Star Restaurant or a 5-star hotel restaurant is a huge plus).
- Experience in managing large teams in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional knowledge of fine wines, spirits, and cocktails, with the ability to create and curate an outstanding wine and bar menu.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel, with strong computer skills to manage restaurant operations effectively.
- Possession of valid Food Handlers and Smart Serve certifications.
- A genuine passion for delivering upscale hospitality experiences, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in service.
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
